Los Angeles Community College District responds with free laptops to students

The Los Angeles Community College District and its Foundation for the Los Angeles Community Colleges are giving away 300 laptops to LACCD students who need essential remote learning tools as the District and its nine colleges shift to online learning platforms later this month in response to the fight against the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus.

Approximately 300 laptops will be given away today in drive-up service to students in their cars.

“We are working to issue many more over the coming days,” said LACCD representative Michael Fuller. “The laptops are to ensure that students without internet access are able to continue attended classes online.”

The initial round is avaialbe today, Sunday March 22, from NOON TO 4 P.M.

Students can goo to the LACCD DISTRICT HEADQUARTERS located at 770 WILSHIRE BOULEVARD, LOS ANGELES, CA
