Debra Messing and Susan Sarandon were at odds with each other yet again during another Twitter spat revolving around President Donald Trump.

Messing fired off first when she tweeted a link to an interview Sarandon did with Variety. In the interview, Sarandon says that Trump’s presidency has fueled more women and people of color to run for office.

“This is a revolution,” Sarandon said. “Maybe things had to get so bad before real change actually could happen. We just have to stay awake.”

Messing called out Sarandon for the comment on Twitter.

“STFU SUSAN. Oh yes, PLEASE let’s give Trump CREDIT. I mean how else are you able to walk out on the street. Convince yourself that that this CATASTROPHE of a President who you said was better that HRC IS NOT ripping children away from parents seeking asylum, holding children,” Messing tweeted.

Sarandon blasted back that Messing should see the interview before making judgments based on a headline.

“Debs, before you get yourself all self-righteous try clicking on the video and listening to what I actually say, not @Variety’s clickbait headline, which btw has no quotation marks. That’s a clue…” Sarandon responded.

The pair’s political feud dates back to the 2016 election. Messing, a Hilary Clinton supporter, took issue with Susan Sarandon, a Bernie Sanders supporter, for saying that Clinton would be worse in office than Trump.
