Los Angeles Blade International News Editor Michael K. Lavers on Wednesday interviewed Tarek Zeidan, the executive director of Helem, an LGBTQ rights group in Lebanon.

Zeidan, who is based in the Lebanese capital of Beirut, spoke with Lavers about the coronavirus pandemic’s impact on Lebanon’s LGBTQ community. Zeidan also discussed his country’s political and economic crises and their effects.
