Donald Trump has hired combative former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani, a longtime Trump ally, the Washington Post reported on Thursday. Giuliani says he has joined the president’s legal team to help deal with the ongoing investigation by Special Counsel Mueller.
“I’m doing it because I hope we can negotiate an end to this for the good of the country and because I have high regard for the president and for Bob Mueller,” Giuliani said in an interview. Giulliani has previously said he thinks the Mueller probe should continue until its conclusion.
Giuliani may be auditioning for the job of Attorney General if Trump decides to fire Jeff Sessions. But even as Trump legal counsel, Giuliani knows Trump the New York real estate developer who had no problem being a public cad for this well-meaning media roast of then-pro-gay mayor in 2000.
“You know, you’re really beautiful,” Trump says to Giuliani in drag, trying perfume at a department store. Trump ducks in to smell Giuliani’s neck and then after Giuliani spritz’s perfume on his ample fake breasts, Trump dives in, waterboarding Giuliani’s fake boobs.
“Oh you dirty boy,” Giuliani feigns flirtatious disgust, slapping the now-president.
To which Trump retorts: “Can’t say I didn’t try!”
